Lessons

Our Basic 90 minute Lessons include land lesson, safety and etiquette, rental rash guard, rental surfboard and surfing in real waves! We will program and customize the lesson to your skill and fitness level. On the day of your lesson we choose the break with the most suitable surf conditions for your skill level or needs.

We have experience teaching and surfing with children and handicapped individuals.
Buttons surfs with handicap soldiers through Access Surf’s Wounded Warriors program. If you need a lesson custom-tailored to suit your needs, feel free to contact us. We are flexible and will work to facilitate your requests.

Our Boards

Our school uses brand new Surftech softtops and epoxy surfboards. You can surf with our boards, or bring your own. We also have equipment for rental and purchase.

Safety Disclaimer

Our highest priority is to pay attention to the safety of our guests in and out of the ocean. We want to make sure that nobody gets hurt and everyone is able to identify threats in time. We strive to minimize hazards at all times. On the day of your surf lesson, we will determine the ideal spot based on the ocean conditions and depending on surf level from beginners to advanced surfers. We will always inform you of risks regarding the different surf spots such as currents, the type of break, water depth and reefs , tidal influences, ocean wildlife, channels and other relevant information.

We also teach our beginner surfers basic surfing etiquette. These guidelines, including respecting locals and other surfers, right of way and  behavior in the water, will help make your surf lesson a safe, fun and rewarding experience for everyone in the water.

On the beach we will show you how to handle your board, enter the water and of course how to paddle and stand on a surf board. We take pride in providing our guests with the best gear and performance learning surfboards and stand up paddleboards. We are always happy to answer any questions you may have regarding ocean safety.
